Capsule Geology

The area of the MJ 1 showing is underlain by Upper Triassic rocks of the Stuhini Group. An outcrop of mafic volcanic rock contained disseminated pyrite over a 40 cenitmetre-wide zone. A sample assayed 0.86 gram per tonne gold and 5.5 grams per tonne silver (Map 1, Assessment Report 18134).

The MJ property was explored by International Phoenix Energy Corp/Prolific Resources in 1988 with follow-up work by Skeena Resources Ltd (formerly Prolific) in 1991.
